59E59 Theaters and Prospect Theater Company announce the cast for the NYC premiere LONG STORY SHORT, adapted from David Schulner's play An Infinite Ache by Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda, and directed by Kent Nicholson.

The Asian American Composers and Lyricists Project and ReImagined World Entertainment will present 'Arriving In Asian America,' a song cycle collectively written by members of the project with original words and music by Adam Gwon, Timothy Huang, Christine Toy Johnson, Ming Aldrich-Gan, Hyeyoung Kim (with Michael Cooper), Leon Ko, Robert Lee, Yoonmi Lee (with Gaby Gold & Zhu Yi), Yan Li, Jason Ma, J. Oconer Navarro, Kamala Sankaram, Tidtaya Sinutoke (with Ty Defoe) and Jeff Tang.

Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) presents its 2014 annual gala, New York In June, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night-only event will be held on Monday, June 30 with an 8pm concert performance featuring Broadway and Prospect stars. The evening's program will include songs from Prospect's 15 years developing and producing new musical theater by emerging artists, including recent productions of Jasper in Deadland, Tamar of the River, and Unlock'd, as well as sneak peak performances from upcoming shows! Proceeds from the evening will benefit Prospect's ongoing mission to develop and produce new American musical theater works.

On Monday, June 23rd, 2014 CAP21 will celebrate its 21st birthday with an epic celebration-The 21st Birthday Bash-at its home at 18 W. 18th Street, 5th and 6th Floors, New York, NY. The event will begin at 7pm with a cocktail hour in the CAP21 Theatre lobby on the 5th floor and will include wine and light hors d'oeuvres. A birthday party concert will begin at 7:30pm in the CAP21 Theatre on the 5th floor, featuring highlights from past CAP21 Theatre Company productions and prominent CAP21 alumni sharing favorite musical moments from their student days. An After-Party Celebration will follow the concert.

Republic by Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk; Feral with Book by Victor Lesniewski, Music by Jacob Yandura, and Lyrics by Rebekah Greer Melocik; and The Danger Year with Music & Lyrics by Georgia Stitt, and Book by Jamie Pachino. All readings are by INVITATION only and will be performed at The York Theatre Company in Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
