Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: The Cast of IF/THEN Sings Kitt & Yorkey; David Michael Finkelstein's Bar Mitzvah: The Musical Comedy In Concert; Josh Canfield & Reed Kelly: From Broadway to Survivor; Ellyn Marie Marsh: INNAPPROPRIATE; and T Oliver Reid: Drop Me Off at Harlem.

59E59 Theaters and Prospect Theater Company announce cast for the NYC premiere LONG STORY SHORT, adapted from David Schulner's play An Infinite Ache by Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda, and directed by Kent Nicholson. LONG STORY SHORT begins performances on February 28 for a limited engagement through March 29. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM, Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 2:15 PM and 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM. Please note the following schedule adjustments: there are no matinee performances on Saturday, February 28 and Saturday, March 7; the performance on Sunday, March 1 is at 7:15 PM only. Press Opening is Tuesday, March 10 at 7:15 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Tickets are $50 ($35 for 59E59 Members). IF/THEN, which was named the "Best Musical of the Year" by New York Magazine, will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, March 22 at 3:00pm. The Asian American Composers and Lyricists Project and ReImagined World Entertainment will present 'Arriving In Asian America,' a song cycle collectively written by members of the project with original words and music by Adam Gwon, Timothy Huang, Christine Toy Johnson, Ming Aldrich-Gan, Hyeyoung Kim (with Michael Cooper), Leon Ko, Robert Lee, Yoonmi Lee (with Gaby Gold & Zhu Yi), Yan Li, Jason Ma, J. Oconer Navarro, Kamala Sankaram, Tidtaya Sinutoke (with Ty Defoe) and Jeff Tang.

Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) presents its 2014 annual gala, New York In June, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night-only event will be held on Monday, June 30 with an 8pm concert performance featuring Broadway and Prospect stars. The evening's program will include songs from Prospect's 15 years developing and producing new musical theater by emerging artists, including recent productions of Jasper in Deadland, Tamar of the River, and Unlock'd, as well as sneak peak performances from upcoming shows! Proceeds from the evening will benefit Prospect's ongoing mission to develop and produce new American musical theater works.

On Monday, June 23rd, 2014 CAP21 will celebrate its 21st birthday with an epic celebration-The 21st Birthday Bash-at its home at 18 W. 18th Street, 5th and 6th Floors, New York, NY. The event will begin at 7pm with a cocktail hour in the CAP21 Theatre lobby on the 5th floor and will include wine and light hors d'oeuvres. A birthday party concert will begin at 7:30pm in the CAP21 Theatre on the 5th floor, featuring highlights from past CAP21 Theatre Company productions and prominent CAP21 alumni sharing favorite musical moments from their student days. An After-Party Celebration will follow the concert.

Republic by Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk; Feral with Book by Victor Lesniewski, Music by Jacob Yandura, and Lyrics by Rebekah Greer Melocik; and The Danger Year with Music & Lyrics by Georgia Stitt, and Book by Jamie Pachino. All readings are by INVITATION only and will be performed at The York Theatre Company in Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The cast and creative team of IF/THEN was at MSR Recording Studios in New York City today to work on the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording, which will be released by Masterworks Broadway on June 3, 2014.
