According to the Hollywood Reporter, director Adam Shankman is currently in talks to direct a big screen adaptation of Jonathan Tropper's novel THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU for Warner Bros.

Yesterday the Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced this year's winning motion picture and television productions at the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today the motion picture and long-form television nominations for the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards. The categories include: The Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures; The Producers Guild of America Producer of the Year Award in Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures; and The David L. Wolper Producer of the Year Award in Long-Form Television. The documentary film category and other television category nominations were already announced by the Guild in December 2011.

HBO Films presentation TOO BIG TO FAIL will receive special encore plays this Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) and Sunday, Aug. 21 at 10:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on the main HBO channel.

Last night, September 21st 2008 the 60th Annual Emmy Awards were presented at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Theater stars Jeremy Piven, Dianne Wiest, Cynthia Nixon, Dame Eileen Atkins, Laura Linney, Alec Baldwin, Glenn Close and Zeljko Ivanek were among the winners.

Eve Ensler, the author of the international phenomenon THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES, plans to explore and expose even more -- in her new play THE GOOD BODY. Ms. Ensler will be making her Los Angeles stage debut when THE GOOD BODY plays a limited 16 performance engagement at the Wadsworth Theatre January 31 to February 12, 2006.
