59E59 Theaters will welcome Gold No Trade with the NYC premiere of THE SUBTLE BODY, written by Megan Campisi, with a Chinese translation by Grant Zhong, and directed by Michael Leibenluft. THE SUBTLE BODY begins performances on Thursday, February 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 1. Press opening is Sunday, February 15 at 3:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday and Saturday at 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Please note, there is no performance on Wednesday, February 25. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) Theatre Company announced today that Colorado playwriting group Rough Draught Playwrights will curate the inaugural Local Playwrights' Slam during the local weekend of the 2015 Colorado New Play Summit. The Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University is pleased to announce that it has acquired the literary archive of dramatist Paula Vogel, a winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a celebrated teacher who has mentored a generation of playwrights. Vogel is the first American female playwright to have her archive included in the Yale Collection of American Literature, where she joins such luminaries as Eugene O'Neill, Thornton Wilder, A. R. Gurney, and John Guare.
