In a recent discussion with the Los Angeles Times, stage and screen star Alfred Molina discussed his reasons for choosing to do RED both at the Donmar Warehouse and for the Broadway transfer.

The Hubbard Street Dance Chicago will end its spring series at the Harris Theatre on March 21st.

The critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of RED began performances on Thursday, March 11 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), for a limited 15-week engagement. RED opens on Broadway on Thursday, April 1.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC), one of the world's premiere contemporary dance companies, will present a riveting 2010 Spring Series, which will include the World Premiere of Terence Marling's At ‘em (Atem) Adam; a Hubbard Street 2 (HS2) World Premiere performance of First Light set by HSDC's resident choreographer and dancer Alejandro Cerrudo; the Company Premiere of 27'52' by world-renowned choreographer Jirí Kylián; and a revival of Susan Marshall's Kiss. The Spring Series will take place at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph Drive, in five performances only, March 18 - 21, 2010. Raúl Esparza, Edward Hibbert, Jeff Blumenkrantz and John Ellison Conlee will join Donna Murphy and Sutton Foster in Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents' Anyone Can Whistle, the final New York City Center Encores! production of the 2009-2010 season. Anyone Can Whistle, running for five performances April 8 - 11, will be directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw with musical direction by Rob Berman.

City Center recently announced it is set to begin a $75 million renovation project on its building located at W. 55th St. the New York Times reported today. The renovations are said to be headed by the Polshek Partnership Architects, the same group that has worked on Carnegie Hall and the Public Theatre.

WaterTower Theatre (WTT) continues its 12th season with the regional premiere of Is He Dead?, a newly discovered Mark Twain comedy.

The Paul Taylor Dance Company brings more than a half century of dance excellence to McCarter Theatre on Wednesday, March 31 at 8pm.

American Ballet Theatre's 2010 Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House, May 17-July 10, will celebrate the Company's 70th Anniversary with a tribute to legendary ballerina Alicia Alonso and the 30th Anniversary of Natalia Makarova's production of La Bayadère. Northrop Dance at the University of Minnesota and the Walker Art Center present the Midwest debut of British sensation Akram Khan Company performing bahok at 8 pm Wednesday, March 3, at Northrop.
