(UMC) will present a developmental reading of the 1958 backstage comedy SAY, DARLING by Tony Award winner Richard Bissell (The Pajama Game), Tony Award winner Abe Burrows (Guys and Dolls) and Marian Bissell. The play with music features songs by the Tony Award-winning team of Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Jule Styne (Bells Are Ringing, Do Re Mi).

Chicago Shakespeare Theater brings to the stage the Midwest premiere of David Ives' comedy The School for Lies, adapted from The Misanthrope by Moliere. Ives' play, Venus in Fur, was a 2012 Tony Award® nominee for Best Play; and his previous work with Chicago Shakespeare includes the CST-commissioned adaptation of Feydeau's A Flea in Her Ear-a 2006 world premiere directed by Gary Griffin. It's not Moliere, and it's not intended to be; Smith wrote fluff, take it as such and laugh accordingly. The play (and a frankly delicious meal, much better than that of many dinner theatres I've visited) is well worth the price of your ticket.

And it has sold more t-shirts than any show in Broadway history. Now in a return engagement at the Pantages, this scaled down tour of Wicked still catches fire, due mostly to a gifted cast.

Back by 'Popular' demand, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED returned to its Los Angeles home, the Pantages Theatre, for a strictly-limited engagement this holiday season running through January 29, 2012. When it first played the Pantages in 2005, it broke box office records and sold out in record time.
