Botti has firmly established himself as the world's largest selling jazz instrumentalist.  

The Playhouse is returning to the 'rock' of Music on the Rock with their next tribute performance featuring the folk-rock music of Simon & Garfunkel.

The original 52nd street location was a cultural barometer and meeting place, inspiring the songs 'Birdland' and 'Lullaby of Birdland,' and serving as a regular haunt for celebrities and cultural figures. The modern incarnation is a state of the art nightclub featuring award winning Southern and Cajun cuisine, first rate sound and lighting and a who's who of contemporary musical artists, 7 nights a week.

Daryl Hall & John Oates, in association with Live Nation Philadelphia, announced today the inaugural HoagieNation Festival: a celebration of everything Philly. This event, which will take place Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 27th, will be headlined and curated by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Daryl Hall & John Oates and will also feature performances by international multi-platinum selling band Tears For Fears plus Philadelphia son G. Love & Special Sauce, Vivian Green, Marah, Son Little, Allen Stone, Kandace Springs and more to be announced.

Brooklyn emcee Faiya is back with his latest music video. Featuring the seasoned veteran Edwin Vazquez, who has worked with legends like Paul Simon and Ruben Blades, Faiya gives us a raw look at the realities facing us in this day and age.

BlueStreet Voices, a vocal jazz ensemble based out of Seattle, performs tunes with a professional trio at their back. Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College continues its 2016-17 season on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 8pm with GRAMMY® Award-winning jazz singer Patti Austin performing Ella Now and Then: A Centennial Celebration of the First Lady of Song. This tribute concert marks the 100th birthday of the great Ella Fitzgerald (born April 25, 1917) and will feature selections from Ms. Austin's 2002 album For Ella, including timeless standards such as 'How High the Moon,' 'Too Close for Comfort,' and 'The Man I Love.'Tickets range from $36 to $55 and can be purchased at BrooklynCenter.org or by calling 718-951-4500 (Tue-Sat, 1pm-6pm).

As previously announced, Everyman Theatre presents the Baltimore/DC Premiere of Los Otros, a timely new reworking of the musical from Tony Award nominees Michael John LaChiusa (music) and Ellen Fitzhugh (book and lyrics). Los Otros is currently in rehearsal and runs from March 22 through April 23, 2017.

The March lineup at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, kicks off with local soulful songwriter, Ron Artis II & The Truth, the Waikiki Edition of Revive the Live and Austin favorite Sharon Bourbonnais. Comedy is king when local funnyman Andy Bumatai graces the stage. Blue Note Hawaii welcomes back one of its favorite artists, jazz guitarist Earl Klugh, followed by groundbreaking Japanese jazz pianist Hiromi, joined on drums by the incomparable Simon Phillips (TOTO, The Who, Judas Priest) and the legendary Blood, Sweat & Tears. Other fantastic shows include a Tribute to Chuck Mangione with Mike Lewis and Friends, Tak Matsumoto with Daniel Ho, Willie K, the Hotclub of Hulaville in an evening of Gypsy Jazz with a Tribute to Django Reinhardt, the Steve Kimock Band, and the 25th Anniversary of the original Hawaiian Style Band.

The 105-voice Los Robles Master Chorale (LRMC), among Southern California's premier choirs, combines with the stellar choirs of Agoura Hills High School to present "Peace and Love," an eclectic program of Sixties rock, folk and classical music conducted by LRMC Artistic Director Lesley Leighton, on Sunday, March 19, 2017, 4 pm, at The Performing Arts Education Center (A-PAEC) on the campus of Agoura High School in Agoura Hills. 

The Flynn Center is a full-service home for the performing arts in the region; offers a wide range of cultural and educational experiences; and nurtures the creative development of performing artists. Upcoming productions include Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Marc Maron, and Upright Citizens Brigade.

ONCE, winner of eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm.
