According to Hollywood Reporter, the recently created Blues Brothers Approved Ventures LLC and Panacea Entertainment, with oversight by Panacea founder and chairman Eric Gardner, have teamed up to manage the Blues Brothers property. The group is considering the production of a Blues Brothers Broadway musical in addition to the already announced television series developed by Dan Akroyd, Judy Belushi and Eric Gardner. Other possibilities include an animated series, a Las Vegas residency for the currently touring Official Blues Brothers Revue, licensing, endorsement, a branded radio network, book publishing, telephony and a greater social media presence, Hollywood Reporter writes.
