CHARLES BUSCH'S CLEOPATRA Will Play Theater for the New City This Spring

Charles Busch will return to Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Executive Artistic Director) this spring with his new comedy Charles Busch's CLEOPATRA for a limited premiere showcase engagement at Theater for the New City'sCommunity Theater (155 First Avenue). The premiere production, directed by Busch's longtime collaborator Carl Andress (The Tribute Artist, Judith of Bethulia, The Divine Sister) will play a limited engagement of 22 performances fromFriday, March 25 through April 17, 2016.

Full Cast Set for NYTW's RED SPEEDO

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) is proud to announce casting for RED SPEEDO, written by Lucas Hnath (The Christians) and directed by NYTW Usual Suspect Lileana Blain-Cruz (Hollow Gates). RED SPEEDO begins previews on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, and officially opens Thursday, March 3, 2016 for a limited run through Sunday, March 27, 2016. Single tickets to RED SPEEDO are now on sale.

Bowie & Walsh's Off-Broadway Hit LAZARUS Switches to Digital Lottery

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) and TodayTix, the theater ticket app, announced today a CheapTix mobile lottery for Lazarus by David Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), BroadwayWorld has learned. To increase access to tickets, this TodayTix program will replace the previously announced in-person lottery and will offer $25 tickets to the fastest selling show in NYTW history.

NYTW Extends David Bowie & Enda Walsh's LAZARUS for a Final Time

Due to unprecedented demand, New York Theatre Workshop has announced a final extension of three additional performances for LAZARUS by David Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), BroadwayWorld has confirmed. The fastest selling show in NYTW history, LAZARUS is inspired by the novel The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis and directed by Ivo van Hove (Hedda Gabler, More Stately Mansions,Obie Awards). LAZARUS began previews on November 18 and officially opens tonight, December 7, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003). The additional performances will be: Monday, January 18 at 8PM, Tuesday, January 19 at 8PM, and Wednesday January 20 at 8PM.

FONDLY, COLLETTE RICHLAND began previews on Friday, September 11, 2015 and officially opened on Monday, September 28, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003), and will now run through Saturday, October 24 2015. Tickets for FONDLY, COLLETTE RICHLAND are now on sale at www.nytw.org.

Tickets to David Bowie & Enda Walsh's LAZARUS at NYTW on Sale Today

Tickets for LAZARUS, the second production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) 2015/16 Season, will go on sale today beginning at 12pm EST. Single tickets for LAZARUS are $95. A limited number of $25 CheapTix will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first two performances.
