Newton's Bobbie Steinbach has been named to the role of "Mrs. Joseph Patrick Paul Costello" in the world premiere production of The Fakus - A Noir, a head-spinning romp mixing money, passion and dreams. Centastage will debut the new play by Joe Byers, directed by Joe Antoun, performing from September 21st through October 6th at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theatre, 539 Tremont Street, Boston. New Rep On Tour will close its eighth season with a three-player adaptation of Edmund Rostand's Masterpiece, Cyrano. Over five weeks, beginning March 4, 2008, the Tour will travel to over 20 Boston area schools and reach over 7,000 students.

The Publick Theatre, known for their outdoor summer theater, has moved inside for the winter with 'Design For Living,' Noel Coward's play based on the group dynamic between himself and his two closest friends, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, which opened at the Plaza Theatre at the Boston Center For the Arts this past Sunday. A witty comedy featuring snappy dialogue and unconventional ideas about marriage, 'Design For Living' explores the quintessential 'love-triangle,' one in which love flows freely between genders and equally among all three friends.
