Jazz-funk drummer and worldwide recording artist Isaiah Stewart announces the release of his fifth album “Summer Beat,” featuring world-renowned jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker.

Today, the Orpheum Theatre Group announced the lineup for the 2018-2019 On Stage at the Halloran Centre series. In addition to the 13-part music Series and 3-part theatre Series, the On Stage season will introduce Kafe Kirk: a special concert series created by Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and Memphis native, Kirk Whalum. British singer-songwriter and producer Chantitown shares 'Cause and the Cure', the first single to be taken from her upcoming debut EP of the same title, released independently on the 13th July. The EP was co-produced and co-composed with Jim Huswuit (Universal Music, National Theatre, Almeida Theatre) who also holds credit as People's Music Award Film and Music Composer. 'Cause and the Cure' was mixed and mastered by reputable engineer Chris Coulter, who has worked with well-respected artists such as Dan Austin (Ocean Size, Pixies), Scott Harding (Wu Tang Clan, New Kingdom), Pip Williams (Status Quo), Rupert Christie (U2 / Green Day) and more. The single also includes notable percussionist Paul Clarvis who has worked with musical greats such as Mick Jagger, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and Sir Paul McCartney, to name but a few.

Austin's Latin Rock Pioneers have released their newest single titled, Recaida. This new single embodies Boca Abajo's signature Roots Rock Sound mixed with true Latin Rock Beats. 'This song is a culmination of several different styles that we grew up listening to. It feels like home and to be able to put this all together in one song is extraordinary.' - Patrick Salinas (lead vocalist) Recaída was recorded and mixed in the 'Live Music Capital of the World' by engineer and musician Gildardo Gonzalez, former bass player of Mexican rock mega group Genitallica. The final master was engineered by Charlie Kransky who spent time engineering at Avatar Studios in New York. He has worked with artists such as Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Elvis Costello, Lenny Kravitz and now Boca Abajo. Recaída is Boca Abajo's first 2018 release and is adding another step in to what has been a great musical journey for this Austin based band. Their unique sound of Latin beat mixed with their Roots Rock sound has proven to be a hit in this new single titled 'Recaída.' Comedy Central builds on its success of last year's Up Nextshowcase at Clusterfest, featuring the network's rising stars, by including another stand-up showcase and adding a variety showcase. The weekend will highlight over 20 comedians with two separate and distinct stand-up showcases taking place on Friday, June 1, hosted by Chris Redd with special guest Tim Dillon and Saturday, June 2, hosted by Jullian McCollough with special guest Mark Normand; and a brand new variety showcase taking place on Sunday, June 3, hosted by Matthew Broussard. Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sammy Strittmatter is set to release his ambitious fourth full-length album, Get Out of the City, on Palo Santo Records on May 18, 2018. Strittmatter, who has recorded and produced all of his records, got help on this outing from producer/label co-founder Salim Nourallah (Old 97's, Nicholas Altobelli, The Damnwells, Rhett Miller).

Phish, the American rock band known worldwide for its dedicated fan base, recently announced a 14-date Fall tour which will conclude in Las Vegas with four performances at the MGM Grand Garden Arena October 31 to November 3. All four shows are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

After selling out three nights last Halloween weekend, improvisational rock icons Widespread Panic will take over Park Theater at Park MGM once again for three more shows. The Halloween Weekend performances are scheduled Friday, Oct. 26, Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 28. Tickets for all three performances go on sale Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. PT.
