Once Upon a Time may allow FROZEN a permanent home on ABC.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present a special preview of its exciting 2014 - 2015 Season with performances and guest artists on Monday, August 18 at 7 p.m. in the Rene?e and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. The evening will include songs and highlights performed by the casts from shows in the 2014 - 2015 Broadway Series, including Pippin, Motown the Musical and The Phantom of the Opera as well as ONCE, which opens the next evening, August 19 - the final production in the 2013 - 2014 Broadway Series. In addition to performing numbers from the shows, the artists will talk about the productions, their performances and entertaining behind-the-scenes stories. Audience members will have the opportunity to purchase their season tickets that evening.

Patrons coming to performances in Segerstrom Hall now through August will be amazed by the exhibit of Broadway-inspired LEGO art created by some of the most talented and imaginative members of LUGOLA (LEGO Users Group of Los Angeles).

Gingold Theatrical Group, under the leadership of David Staller, honored philanthropist Anita Jaffe and playwright/actor Charles Busch at its Annual Golden Shamrock Gala, earlier this week at Manhattan Penthouse (80 Fifth Ave at 14th Street). The GTG Golden Shamrock Award is given annually for artistic contribution to society. Past honorees include Terrence McNally, Judith Ivey, Brian Murray, and Robert Osborne. ABC and dick clark productions have extended their broadcast agreements for the “American Music Awards” for nine years and “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest” for ten years. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project 'takes place a year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger and follows Steve Rogers' (Chris Evans) girlfriend Agent Carter (portrayed by Hayley Atwell) as she builds her career as a secret agent while the hero is frozen in ice.'

Variety reports that ABC has picked up their new fall drama Marvel's Agents of SHIELD for a full first season after the first three episodes of the show delivered strong ratings in the highly coveted Adults 18-49 demographic.

London's 'Summer of Love' comes to Center City in the Philly Fringe with the Philadelphia premiere of 'Traveling Light' by Philadelphia playwright Lindsay Harris Friel. The play is directed by Liam Castellan and produced by Liam's Sofa Cushion Fortress in The Skybox at The Adrienne Theater, tonight, September 6-14, 2013.
