The Lost Colony Makes History While Honoring The Past for 85th Anniversary

Under direction of Jeff Whiting and Executive Director Chuck Still, the 85th Season of The Lost Colony will feature brand new theatrical technology (3D projections, dynamic lighting) to transform the experience for audiences attending the longest-running outdoor symphonic drama of the Tony Award recipient, beginning performances on May 27th.

PlayMakers Repertory Company presents the regional premiere of “Yoga Play,” a comedy by Dipika Guha that asks the question, what is the personal cost of enlightenment and  identity, in a world that commodifies both? The production runs from February 23 to March 13, 2022 and is directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh in her Paul Green Theatre stage directorial debut.

Roundabout Theatre Company Announces Tenth Annual Underground Reading Series

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the tenth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series, a four-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written by emerging artists. The Reading Series will feature new works by Liz Appel, Noah Diaz, Daria Miyeko Marinelli and York Walker. The Roundabout Underground Reading Series is January 18 - 21, 2022 at 5:00PM at the Five Angels Theater (789 Tenth Avenue).

PlayMakers Adds YOGA PLAY to 2021/22 Season

Today, PlayMakers Repertory Company at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill announced it will present Dipika Guha’s “Yoga Play” during the 2021/22 season. The season kicks off November 10 in the storied Paul Green Theatre.
