Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announces the full casting and creative team for the highly anticipated world premiere of Sense and Sensibility, a musical adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel, with book, music and lyrics by Tony Award®-nominated composer Paul Gordon.

On March 13, 2015, The New York Pops continues its 31st season with two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in her solo debut at Carnegie Hall. Among other musical standards, Foster will reprise her unforgettable performances of "Anything Goes" and "I Get a Kick Out of You" from her Tony Award-winning turn as Reno Sweeney in the Cole Porter classic. She will also offer her own take on "Down with Love," made famous by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand. Foster will be joined by special guest artists Joshua Henry and Megan McGinnis, who will sing the showstopper "Let It Sing" from Violet, and the touching "Neverland" from Peter Pan.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2015 Season, which opens on June 15 with My Fair Lady. 'This is a thrilling roster of artists,' said Muny Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson. 'We look forward to bringing their vision and talent to our grand stage.'

Megan McGinnis, standby for Side Show's twins on Broadway, appeared as 'Violet' in today's (December 3) matinee performance, in place of Erin Davie. Davie is, however, performing in this evening's show.

TheatreWorks, the nationally-acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, presents its 45th Anniversary Celebration, a gala event featuring dinner, dancing, and a special concert version of the most popular show in TheatreWorks history, Emma. The event will honor Donald Kennedy, esteemed teacher, scientist, Stanford president emeritus, former FDA commissioner, and longtime TheatreWorks supporter, who will be recognized for his contributions to the arts and the community. The theme of the event is 'Original and Timeless,' reflecting TheatreWorks' ongoing commitment to supporting new and innovative work, as well as its role as a fixture in the Bay Area theatre community. Tony Award winner Daryl Roth (Kinky Boots, The Normal Heart) and Karyl Lynn Burns (The Best is Yet to Come) present the New York premiere of Wiesenthal, the award-winning play written by and starring Tom Dugan and directed by Jenny Sullivan. Wiesenthal launches a limited 14-week engagement, from tonight, October 24 through February 1, at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row, (410 W. 42nd Street). Opening night is November 5.

Stephen Edwards' TESS OF THE D'URBERVILLES, a musical adaption of Thomas Hardy's 1891 novel, is a musical that never found its proper footing. Prior to opening on the West End, the UK tour was met with positive reviews, but poor critical reception at London's Savoy Theatre saw the musical shutter faster than anyone anticipated. Yet, TESS still has life thanks to TESS OF THE D'URBERVILLES (Original Cast Recording).
