According to Clyde Fitch Report, Close reportedly turned down the highly sought-after role of 'Helen Sinclair' in the upcoming stage adaptation of Woody Allen's BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, starring Zach Braff. As previously announced, Allen turned down stage legends Patti LuPone and Bernadette Peters, both of who reportedly auditioned, and is now leaning towards casting Marin Mazzie, who took on the role in the recent readings of the production.

In the morning before PBS aired Lincoln Center's COMPANY last night, November 8, Jon Cryer, who starred in the production as 'David', Tweeted to his followers that they should tune in. Little did he know he would be starting a back-and-forth on who best portrayed the role of 'Bobby' -- Neil Patrick Harris or Raul Esparza -- with actor Josh Charles (The Good Wife).
