For Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, June begins with one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters in recent history, Christopher Cross, followed by a Reggae Meets Jazz series with Monty Alexander Harlem Kingston Express, contemporary jazz instrumentalist group Acoustic Alchemy and Grammy Award-winning vocalist Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton. June also brings a host of local talent including Adagio, Willie K, Paula Fuga, Darren Benitez, Hotclub of Hulaville, Rolando Sanchez, Little Albert and Jake Shimabukuro. Blue Note Hawaii also continues Gospel Brunch every Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. show time and doors opening at 11:00 a.m.

Grammy-nominated Jazz recording artist Sacha Boutros returns to Martinis Above Fourth with her popular show, Sacha Sings Streisand. Sacha created the show in 2014 because she always wanted to pay tribute to her longtime idol, Barbra Streisand. That show provided the opportunity to do just that and the audience loved every minute of it! The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia (UBC) presents the return of singular jazz sensation, Ce?cile McLorin Salvant on May 1 at 7pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall. Hot off her 2016 GRAMMY win for Best Vocal Jazz Album, Salvant shares bold new works from the record For One to Love - a heartfelt collection of songs, many of which are written by Salvant herself, that reveal new dimensions of this young vocalist's artistry.

Lea Salonga, revered as the 'Voice of the Philippines,' returns to Segerstrom Center for the Arts for a special one-night-only concert in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall tonight, April 2 at 8 p.m.

Two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated Michael Feinstein returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with a special celebration of Academy Award-winning lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman for five performances only - May 18-22, 2016. Considered one of the premier interpreters of American standards, Feinstein will perform some of the Bergman's greatest songs, including 'The Way We Were,' 'Nice N' Easy,' 'A Piece of Sky,' 'How Do You Keep the Music Playing,' among others.
