The Public Theater and Theatre for a New Audience will present three special screenings of Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory's most beloved films, Andre Gregory: Before and After Dinner, Vanya on 42nd Street, and My Dinner With Andre, at Joe's Pub at The Public in August. These three screenings are presented as part of the current retrospective, The Wallace Shawn-Andre Gregory Project, celebrating the 40-year collaboration between these two artists.

This week at Joe's Pub at the Public, June 24 through June 30, 2013, will feature: 2G: Sixteen Going on Seventeen, Nellie McKay, Philippe Quint, Michael Bacon: Downtown Express, The Gonzalo Gergara Quartet, The Impossible Girl, Global Noize: Sly Reimagined, JP Jofre Quintet, Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, Slavic Soul Party, NY Theremin Society, Ryan Amador, No BS! Expanding on its history of developing new plays and cultivating new voices for the American theater, The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) is now accepting applications for its fifth cycle of the Emerging Writers Group¸ an initiative that seeks to target playwrights at the earliest stages in their career, creating an artistic home, support, and resources for a diverse group of up-and-coming playwrights.

Joe's Pub at The Public has announced the Beck Song Reader Stage during Make Music New York, the annual festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout all five boroughs, today, June 21 from 11am - 7pm.

A stand-by line for tomorrow's concert performance will start forming at 6:00 p.m. with any available tickets given out just prior to curtain.
