Duncan Pflaster's UNDERPANTS GODOT Premieres Tonight at Secret Theatre

CROSS-EYED BEAR PRODUCTIONS has announced the world premiere production of Duncan Pflaster's THE UNDERPANTS GODOT. The limited four performance engagement will take place at the Secret Theatre (44-02 23rd St Long Island City, NYC, NY 11101-5000). Performances are tonight, August 18th at 7pm, Wednesday August 19th at 7pm, Friday August 28th at 9pm, and Saturday August 29th at 9pm. Tickets are on sale at http://unfringed2015.bpt.me/.

2014 SOUND BITES Musical Finalists Announced

Theatre Now New York has announced the ten musicals that will be featured in the 2nd Annual SOUND BITES 10-Minute Musical Theatre Festival to be performed on December 8, 2014 at 7:00PM at the 47th Street Theatre in Manhattan. TUNE IN TIME, New York City's exciting, new musical theater challenge returns to Stage 72 today, July 1 at 9 pm with a new crop of exciting up-and-coming musical theater songwriters. The composers and lyricists must write a song from a musical whose title is literally picked from a hat, and in the genre determined by a spin of "The Dreaded Genre Wheel." Will it be a historical epic? Something a la Rodgers & Hammerstein? Or even [insert name of large theme-park owning megacorporation-turned-Broadway-megalopolis here]? Oh yeah, and they have just 20 minutes to do it.

Winners announced of SOUND BITES festival of 10-minute musicals which was held this past Monday evening at The 47th Street Theatre in New York City and produced by Theatre Now New York. Over 50 entries were received during the submission period. A panel of 12 adjudicators selected the top 10 finalists, which were performed to an appreciative sell-out crowd.

Sheffield Theatres presents Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, directed by Paul Miller. Starring alongside the previously announced Daniel Lapaine (Muriel's Wedding) as Leontes in The Winter's Tale is Claire Price, who returns to Sheffield Theatres to play his wife, Hermione.
