 Farmers Alley Theatre will partner with the Irving S. Gilmore International Piano Festival to bring Sondheim on Sondheim to Southwest Michigan audiences this April and May.

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center has joined The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey to celebrate the work of William Shakespeare, just in time for his 457th birthday. “The Bard at Bell Works” takes place on the Bell Works campus in Holmdel, NJ.

This summer, the annual Houston Shakespeare Festival presents TWELFTH NIGHT and RICHARD III, free and open to the public, at Hermann Park's Miller Outdoor Theatre.

For more than 40 years, the school has delivered the Houston Shakespeare Festival (HSF) to eager audiences. This year's event will continue this tradition with free performances of 'Much Ado About Nothing' directed by Jack Young and 'Henry V' directed by Lenny Banovez. Performances run July 29 through Aug. 7 at Hermann Park's Miller Outdoor Theatre (6000 Hermann Park Dr.). All performances begin at 8:15 p.m.

The American Shakespeare Center's Spring Season production of ARMS AND THE MAN by George Bernard Shaw opened Friday, April 29, and runs through June 11 at the Blackfriars Playhouse, in Staunton, VA.  The production features Andrew Goldwasser as Captain Bluntschli, Zoe Speas as Raina Petkoff, and Josh Innerst as Sergius Saranoff.
