Broadway In Chicago has announced Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen, The Wrestler, Across the Universe) will join the cast of “FOR THE RECORD: DEAR JOHN HUGHES,” an immersive, concert event showcasing the works of beloved Chicago native John Hughes, at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) the second week of performances March 12 – 15, 2015. Evan Rachel Wood will replace Rumer Willis who will play “Basket Case” in the first week of performances March 5 – 8, 2015. Willis will be returning to Los Angeles to prepare for her upcoming, just announced debut on Season 20 of ABC's “Dancing With The Stars.'

FOR THE RECORD: DEAR JOHN HUGHES at West Hollywood's DBA showcases the works of acclaimed director John Hughes, by reliving his acclaimed coming of age 1980's teen flicks including Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Pretty In Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. After increasing the number of weekly performances and moving to a larger venue in West Hollywood to accommodate significantly larger crowds, "For The Record: Tarantino" has become the hottest ticket in town, driving the series to add a 10-week extension. The show has attracted thousands of people already, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives.
