Pandora Productions' STANDING ON CEREMONY to Open 11/14

BOY MEETS BOY to Open Pandora Productions' 2013-14 Season, Begin. 9/12

Pandora Productions opens its 2013-14 season on Thursday, September 12, with Boy Meets Boy, a high spirited musical homage to the romantic screwball comedies of the '30s. This story of love triangles, mistaken identities and fast-moving intrigue is set in London during the abdication of King Edward VIII for the notorious Mrs. Simpson. Reporter Casey O' Brien learns of preening groom Clarence who's been jilted at the altar by the mysterious 'English Rose' and becomes obsessed with finding this charming and good looking stranger but instead ends up with a very big surprise.

NAKED BOYS SINGING, MARRY ME A LITTE & More Set for Pandora Productions' 2013-14 Season

Pandora Productions kicks off its 2013-14 season in just nine days with Naked Boys Singing!, the needs-no-explanation (but we will: audiences are gonna LOVE IT) musical originally slated for Pandora's '12-'13 season but postponed due to casting issues. But that didn't dissuade us from making this most requested of all time production - a celebration of the male body yet much, much more - happen as the hottest kickoff ever to start the season.

Pandora Productions is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Borland as President of the Louisville-based theatrical organization and Todd Mercier as Vice President. Both have also joined Pandora's Board of Directors.

Pandora Productions brings down the curtain on its 2012-13 season with a fiercely fun, campy comedy called 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche [swear ;-)]. Set amongst the shenanigans surrounding 'The Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein's' annual quiche breakfast circa Cold War-era 1956, the title alone (!) begs Kentuckiana audiences to see what The New York Times described as 'raw and magnetic dementia destined to attract a cult following.'

Pandora Productions’ 2012/2013 Season Opens With KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN

The musical version of Manual Puig's 1976 novel first saw life in 1990. Despite having been begotten by theater royalty, Kiss of the Spider Woman got off to a rocky start before becoming one of the big musical hits of the '90s. Four-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally adapted the book. John Kander and Fred Ebb (Cabaret, Chicago, Master Class) wrote the music. The producer was Harold Prince (Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Sweeny Todd), who has won more Tony Awards than anyone in the history of mankind (that would be 21).
