Has there ever been a father/daughter theatrical combo that sets off sparks like when HAllie Foote acts in the plays of her father, the great Horton Foote?  For Primary Stages, she's been heartbreaking as the emotionally repressed title character in The Day Emily Married and downright hilariously self-centered in Dividing The Estate.  Now, in the company's package of three Foote one-acts titled Harrison, TX, she and Andrea Lynn Green open the evening with crackling comic chemistry that's firmly grounded in reality.

CLYBOURNE PARK is the recipient of this year's Tony Award for Best Play.

The acclaimed work by Bruce Norris, and directed by Pam McKinnon, will play the Walter Kerr Theatre for a limited 16-week engagement. Preview performances for the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Clybourne Park will begin tonight on Broadway. The acclaimed work by Bruce Norris, and directed by Pam McKinnon, will have its official Opening Night at the Walter Kerr Theatre on Thursday, April 19, for a limited 16-week engagement.

Bruce Norris deservedly won the 2011 Pulitzer for his brilliant study of human nature Clybourne Park, which picks up where Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun leaves off. Now at the Mark Taper Forum, Park's director Pam McKinnon holds tight reins over an outstanding ensemble, all of whom play two roles as the play shifts in two acts from 1959 to 2009.

CLYBOURNE PARK, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Bruce Norris, will open on Broadway on Thursday, April 12 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) in a production directed by Pam McKinnon. The first preview will be announced at a later date. The original cast of the 2010 world premiere Playwrights Horizons production (Crystal A. Dickinson, Brendan Griffin, Damon Gupton, Christina Kirk, Annie Parisse, Jeremy Shamos and Frank Wood), currently performing at Center Theater Group's Mark Taper Forum through February 26, is expected to make the move to Broadway.
