Broadway Sessions with Ben D will present a holiday concert December 16th featuring a host of Broadway talents. Last night, October 7th, 2008, Roundabout Theatre Company's production of 'A Man For All Seasons' had its official Broadway opening at the American Airlines Theatre. BroadwayWorld was there to bring you all the Opening Night festivities.

Producer Sonia Friedman announced today that the 2008 Tony Award-Winning Best Play Revival, Boeing-Boeing, has recouped its entire $2.65 million investment as of September 21. A 2009 Tour is also being planned.

It is Volunteers of America's annual back-to-school drive that asks the general public to bring new backpacks to designated Drop Locations throughout the city. Over 70 New York businesses participate by engaging employees in backpack and school supply drives. The result is thousands of new backpacks, which volunteers fill with trade-specific supplies during Sort Week and distribute to kids in time for the start of the school year.

On Monday, February 25, the Broadway at Birdland series welcomed composer/performer Victoria Shaw and her celebrated showcase 'Under The Covers With Victoria Shaw.' Following the concert was Jim Caruso's Cast Party.

Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! - The Musical officially opened on Broadway November 9 after making its return to Broadway on November 1, with performances originally scheduled through January 6, 2008 at the St. James Theatre.
