A new production of 'I Do! I Do!' will be the first production to 'christen' The Old Globe in San Diego's new Sheryl and Harvery White Theatre.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced a month-long series of events celebrating the opening of The Old Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. The Theatre Center incorporates the flagship Old Globe Theatre and a newly-constructed four-level facility housing the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, Karen and Donald Cohn Education Center, Hattox Hall, Erna and Andrew Viterbi Lobby, Lady Carolyn's Pub and Donald and Darlene Shiley Terrace.

Real-life married couple Paige Davis and Patrick Page will star in a special engagement of I Do! I Do!, the classic Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt musical based on The Fourposter by Jan de Hartog, in The Old Globe's new Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre. The well-loved classic, by the creators of The Fantasticks, spans five decades in the life of a married couple - from the nervousness of their wedding day to the wisdom of old age. I Do! I Do! will run Dec. 11 - 20, 2009. Previews take place on Dec. 11 at 8:00 p.m. and Dec. 12 at 2:00 p.m. Opening night is Saturday, Dec. 12 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale to subscribers only. Variety is reporting that former BOEING-BOEING star and Trading Spaces host Paige Davis has been picked to to host Life for Dummies, a new lifestyle-oriented syndicated show being developed by A. Smith and Co.

Second Stage Theatre celebrated its annual All-Star Bowling Classic on Monday, February 2nd Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge. For over 21 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts. BWW joined in on all the starry fun!

The 2008 Tony Award Winning Best Play Revival, Boeing-Boeing, will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, January 4, 2009, when the current cast's contracts end. Upon closing, Boeing-Boeing will have played 280 performances and 17 previews. The critically acclaimed comedy, which recouped its entire $2.65 million investment this September, will launch a 45-week national tour this fall. Prior to its Broadway engagement, Boeing-Boeing enjoyed a wildly successful run at London's Comedy Theatre from February 2007 - January 2008.
