The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed gay comedy/variety show - will continue its Spring 2013 season tonight, March 14 at The Duplex in New York's West Village. After a sell-out year, The Meeting* has added a second performance each month due to popular demand; there are now shows at 7:000 PM and 9:30 PM.

Chance Theater presents the second show of its 2013 season with the Orange County Premiere of THE LARAMIE PROJECT: TEN YEARS LATER by Moises Kaufman, Leigh Fondakowski, Greg Pierotti, Andy Paris and Stephen Belber, playing in repertory with the award-winning masterwork, THE LARAMIE PROJECT, by Moises Kaufman and members of Tectonic Theater Project, both directed by Chance Theater's Artistic Director Oanh Nguyen. THE LARAMIE PROJECT will preview on Thursday, April 18 & Saturday, April 20 at 8pm and will open on Tuesday, April 23 at 8pm. THE LARAMIE PROJECT: 10 YEARS LATER will preview on Friday, April 19 at 8pm & Sunday, April 21 at 7pm and will open on Wednesday, April 24 at 8pm and both shows will continue playing in repertory through Sunday, May 19 at Chance Theater, 5552 E. La Palma Ave. in Anaheim Hills.

The Queens Players in association with Femme Fatale Theater present Euripides' timeless tragedy The Bacchae, in a production dripping with a sense of foreboding dark comedy this March 28th through April 14th at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, Queens. Femme Fatale Theater Co-Founder Robert Ribar directs a cast lead by Peter Oliver ('Law & Order: Special Victims Unit') as the seductive god Dionysus and Michael Axelrod (The Flea's Restoration Comedy) as the doomed king Pentheus in a production that features original music and an all-male chorus.

Downtown Urban Theater Festival (DUTF) opened on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 with sold-out performances of The Rules of the World, written by Lavinia Roberts, and The Last Day of Oscar Wilde's Life, written by Adam Esquenazi Douglas. Gulfshore Playhouse has produced good shows, great shows and shows I wasn't quite a fan of. Now, with 'The Importance of Being Earnest,' Kristen Coury finds herself in a different place entirely. 'Earnest' is amazing. I absolutely don't care if you hate Oscar Wilde. This will be the best two and a half hours of your life. Cucumber sandwiches not included. I don't like cucumber sandwiches anyway.

Tony nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo, rising cabaret star Jennifer Sheehan, and multi-award-winning star of ZOMBIE, Bill Connington, appeared in a sold-out staged reading of The Importance of Being Earnest ('A Trivial Comedy for Serious People') by Oscar Wilde. Joining them were Gayton Scott (Gypsy), Brian Charles Rooney (Threepenny Opera), Annmarie Benedict (Robeson) and Michael Keyloun (Tartuffe). The staged reading was site-specific, and was performed in the white and gold gilded ballroom of a private Eastside club. The evening was produced by Razors Edge Productions.
