Ahead of the opening of their new season and their 40th anniversary next year, Artistic Director of Polka Theatre, Peter Glanville, today announces that Amanda Holden will join the theatre as a new Patron. Holden has been specifically brought on to support the upcoming Future Polka capital development which is scheduled to begin next year.

Written as a 'narrative for voices' by Alan Ayckbourn and brought to The Old Vic stage by Old Vic Baylis Director Annabel Bolton following its premiere at the Edinburgh International Festival, The Divide unfolds in a dystopian society of repression and seething insurrection.

The full company is announced today for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, running at Chichester Festival Theatre from 10 July - 26 August, with a press night on Tuesday 18 July. Directed by Daniel Evans, the cast of this new staging of the classic Broadway musical is led by Omid Djalili and Tracy-Ann Oberman.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is currently in previews in London's West End at the Palace Theatre, where it will open on July 30. Pauline McLynn (Father Ted, Shameless, EastEnders) will play Ella Khan in Ayub Khan Din's critically-acclaimed play East is East, which was part of Jamie Lloyd's second Trafalgar Transformed season, directed by Sam Yates, on a 16 week National Tour from tonight 11 June 2015, commencing at Theatre Royal, Brighton. East is East is designed by Tom Scutt, with lighting by Richard Howell and sound and music by Alex Baranowski.

The Just For Laughs Festival, presented by Videotron in association with Loto-Quebec, returns this summer for its 33rd edition with more laughs and more stars.  This year, Broadway stars Neil Patrick Harris, Alan Cumming and Jane Lynch will appear alongside a comedian line-up that includes Mike Myers, Kevin Hart, Dave Chappelle, Wanda Sykes, Trevor Noah, Bill Burr, Patton Oswalt, Weird Al Yankovic, Jason Reitman, Omid Djalili and Ellie Kemper.

The Khans are joined by Kammy Darweish (Mr Shah), Sakuntala Ramanee (Mrs Shah) and Sally Bankes (Auntie Annie).
