This autumn The Point presents some of the UK's best touring comedians including satirical comedy and traditional stand-up.

Opening the season of comedy is critic's favourite The Noise Next Door with Uproar! Causing a commotion with their fourth nationwide tour - an anarchic evening of side-splitting jokes, jaw-dropping characters, and mind-blowing songs - audiences are invited to witness this astonishing comedy sensation live at The Point on Saturday 14th October. The evening will also include a practical improvised comedy workshop with the company before the show.

Following a sell-out show at The Berry Theatre in 2016, comedian and actor of stage and screen Omid Djalili returns with Schmuck For A Night at The Point on Saturday 2nd December. Intelligent, sometimes provocative and always entertaining, Omid's stand-up is a captivating comedy masterclass.

On Tuesday 7th November audience favourite Mark Thomas returns to The Point with A Show That Gambles On The Future. Following a triumphant Edinburgh Fringe run in August, Mark sets out to discover what the future has in store for us by collecting and examining his own predictions and those of his audience before gambling on their outcome.

Before a nationwide tour in 2018, Jason Manford presents an intimate stand-up show on Friday 3rd November. Now sold-out, audience members can join a waiting list to see the comedy legend before he embarks on his wider tour in the new year.

All comedy performances at The Point are preceded by a pre-show curry, served by the venue's Café Bar.

Alongside the venue's programme of stand-up, The Comedy Lab presents a monthly Open Mic Night. Anything Funny encourages budding comedians to come and share their original work in a relaxed and supportive setting.

The Point's sister venue welcomes celebrated author Kathy Lette to The Berry Theatre on Thursday 30th November. Taking her audience on a psychological strip tease with tales of marriage, men, love and lust - and much more - Kathy's fun-filled Girls' Night Out is not to be missed.
