The Orpheum Theatre Group has announced that the 11th annual Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards, originally scheduled for the end of May, will now take place virtually on Monday, June 22 at 7pm on the Orpheum's social media channels.

When they wrote 'I believe the children are the future' they must have had Ari Axelrod in mind because this twenty-something year old is out to change the cabaret world, one young student and one cabaret show at a time.

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company continues its 2019-2020 Season with William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, directed by Lise Bruneau. Measure for Measure runs from February 7-23, 2020, with previews February 5-6, and press night on the 7th.

On Thursday, May 25 at 7pm, students and supporters from 35 participating schools across the Mid-South will gather at the Orpheum Theatre for the 8th Annual High School Musical Theatre Awards, sponsored in part by Sedgwick, Memphis Audio, and Dean Film & Video.  Modeled after the Tony® Awards, the High School Musical Theatre Awards recognize achievements in all areas of high school musical theatre.

LA Opera professional artists will once again collaborate with nearly 500 amateur members of the Los Angeles musical community to present two performances of Benjamin Britten's Noah's Flood this spring at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
