The tricks wax hot and humorous in Howard Lentzner's TrunkWax: Delahunt at Large. The novel begins in a pile of wood, or rather, in the small Northern California town of Pylewood, inside a wooden pickle barrel. Howard Lentzner masterfully uses the image as laugh-motif to symbolize guys who are in a pickle with their wives. It is the motive force that sends Lentzner's hero Jim Delahunt halfway around the world and lands him in a series of adventures salty enough to season the dreams of erring husbands all over the world.

Paper Mill Playhouse will launch its 75th Anniversary Season with the world-premiere, Broadway-bound musical Honeymoon in Vegas, based on the Castle Rock Entertainment motion picture of the same title. Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown(The Last Five Years, Parade, 13) and book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film). Gary Griffin (The Color Purple) will direct with original choreography by Denis Jones. For ONE NIGHT ONLY on Thursday, September 12, 2013, Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre celebrates "Throwback Thursday" and will be showing "The Jungle Book," the 19th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. Originally released on October 18, 1967, "The Jungle Book" is the story about the feral child Mowgli from the book of the same name by Rudyard Kipling. Directed by Wolfgang Reitherman it was the last animated feature to be produced by Walt Disney, who died during its production.

Tetreault, Director of Ford's Theatre Society, announced the special event schedule for the third year of The Lincoln Legacy Project-this year thematically connected with the Society's production of the stage play The Laramie Project (September 27-October 27, 2013), and recognizing the 15 years since Matthew Shepard was abducted and killed in an anti-gay hate crime in Laramie, Wyoming. The multi-year Lincoln Legacy Project encourages people of differing viewpoints to engage in meaningful and respectful dialogue about diversity and understanding through a range of programming including performances, panel discussions, special museum exhibitions, education programs and more. This fall, Ford's presents The Laramie Project to spark conversation about social injustice, bigotry, bullying and violence against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, and to take steps toward understanding, inclusion and equality.
