Currently celebrating its 35th Anniversary Season, Second Stage Theatre will extend its production of James Lapine and William Finn's new musical comedy, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, by one week, now playing through Sunday, December 15. The musical has broken box office records for Second Stage Theatre, earning the highest pre-opening advance in the company's 35-year history.

Highlights this week include WICKED's 10th Anniversay Curtain Call and After Party, and First Looks at LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, and Angela Lansbury being the first inductee at the Bucks County Playhouse.

The Phoenix, the New Theatre Company founded by long-time PICT artistic director and founder Andrew Paul and Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre founder and former director of theatre initiatives at the August Wilson Center, Mark Clayton Southers, will debut with a four week run of Joe Penhall's provocative, caustically funny, Olivier Award-winning play Blue/Orange. The production will star acclaimed actors David Whalen, Sam Tsoutsouvas, and newcomer Rico Parker, with direction by Andrew Paul and scenic design by Mark Clayton Southers. Blue/Orange, sponsored by founding Phoenix Board Member and noted arts philanthropist Richard E. Rauh, plays tonight, November 1-23, 2013 at the Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre, 937 Liberty Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for the 22nd annual production of A Musical Christmas Carol this December at the Byham Theatre. This talented cast will feature Pittsburgh CLO veterans and an exciting group of newcomers, led by Pittsburgh's own Tom Atkins as Ebenezer Scrooge. The Wagner College Theatre program continues its 45th season with a production of the girl-loves-ghoul rock 'n' roll musical, 'Zombie Prom,' running Tuesday, Nov. 19 through Sunday, Nov. 24 in the Stage One studio theater.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T) welcomes Seth Goldman, co-founder and TeaEO of Honest Tea and Harvard College alum, to discuss his new business book in comic format, Mission in a Bottle - The Honest Guide to Doing Business Differently - and Succeeding, published by Crown Business division of Random House. Co-authored with Barry Nalebuff, Honest Tea co-founder and Yale School of Management professor, the book explains how they built their business from five thermoses to morethat 100 million bottles a year. Since its publication in September 2013, it has been named a New York Times and Wall Street Journal Best Seller.
