Prince George's Little Theatre will lead off its 54th season with the madcap comedy "Twentieth Century" at the Bowie Playhouse at White Marsh Park August 30 through September 15. The six Friday and Saturday evening performances are August 30 and 31, and September 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 8 p.m. The three matinee performances are Sundays September 1, 8 and 15 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20, with discount tickets available at $15 for seniors and those 18 and under. Paper Mill Playhouse will launch its 75th Anniversary Season with the world-premiere, Broadway-bound musical Honeymoon in Vegas, based on the Castle Rock Entertainment motion picture of the same title. Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five Years, Parade, 13) and book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film). Gary Griffin (The Color Purple) will direct with original choreography by Denis Jones. Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Boston Landmarks Orchestra will present a concert version of Cole Porter's Kiss Me Kate with Broadway's Marc Kudisch* as Fred Graham/Patruchio and Kerry O'Malley* as Lilli Vanessi/Katherine. Steven Maler, Founding Artistic Director of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Associate Artistic Director, Adam Sanders, will direct with Boston Landmark Orchestra's Music Director Christopher Wilkins, conducting. Fifty-three of Broadway's brightest and most compassionate stars spent last night sleeping on the streets outside the Covenant House crisis shelter in Manhattan in solidarity with the 300 homeless young people living inside.The first-ever Covenant House Broadway Sleep Out raised over $136,000 to provide food, clothing, shelter, and hope for homeless youth.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Jenni Barber, who most recently starred in THE NANCE on Broadway will take on 'Grace Farrell' in ANNIE beginning August 20. Brynn O'Malley, who currently plays the role, will temporarily depart to star in HONEYMOON IN VEGAS at Paper Mill Playouse. She will return to the production on November 5.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) raised and donated over $8,000 from its recent production of "8," Dustin Lance Black's play about the California Proposition 8 trial. The donation continues CPH's mission to serve the community, with the $8,231 shared equally between the American Foundation for Equal Rights and the Cleveland chapter of Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG).

According to the Daily Mail, actress and director Kathy Burke is revamping playwright Mary O'Malley's 1977 play ONCE A CATHOLIC. Burke will direct the production at the Tricycle Theatre, beginning November 21.
