Sherri James Buxton Performs with the Bob Shepherd Trio, 6/1

Sherri James Buxton and Friends, featuring the Bob Shepherd Trio, Charles Neville and Paul Green, is a live concert at The Colonial Theatre on June 1 at 8pm to benefit Community Resources for People with Autism. At 6pm there will be a pre-concert VIP reception in The Colonial Theatre lobby, catered by Shiro with wines from Kelly's Package Store. Those who purchase the VIP reception tickets will also be treated to pre-show entertainment by Dominic Annand on the piano.

Scott Fitzgerald's masterpiece The Great Gatsby, there is renewed interest in the legendary writer's work. Fans will delight in knowing that The Saturday Evening Post is working with intellectual property studio SD Entertainment and romance transmedia and company BroadLit to publish F.Scott Fitzgerald's Gatsby Girls-a collection of his first eight short stories originally published in The Saturday Evening Post. Included are the original illustrations, cover art, reproductions of the actual pages of the Post, plus a fascinating introduction by the Post's historian. No other writer of his time wrote so skillfully, so sympathetically and so fascinatingly about women.

With book and lyrics by Eleanor Albano and Anthony Barnao, and music by Ron Abel, this reading of Rockwell will be directed by Glenn Casale.
