To open its 30th anniversary summer season, Moonlight Stage Productions presents the most American of American musicals, Rodgers and Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA! from July 14-31 at the Moonlight Amphitheatre.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's 2010 Shakespeare Festival performed in repertory in the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre.

Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto named William Roesch an Associate Artist of The Old Globe at a ceremony held on May 24. He is the 53rd artist to receive the prestigious honor which recognizes his unique contribution to the institution. Roesch both directed and acted at the Globe for more than 20 years and served as Associate Artistic Director from 1962 to 1969.

Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto announces that the memorial service honoring Founding Director of The Old Globe, Craig Noel, on Monday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. will now be held at the historic Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. The memorial, 'Celebrating the Theatrical Legacy of Craig Noel,' was originally scheduled to be held in the Old Globe Theatre. Due to the size of the response, the event has been moved to the larger outdoor venue. Following the service, a reception will be held on the theater's Copley Plaza, a short walk from the Pavilion. The memorial service is free and open to all.

On May 6th, CAP21 (Collaborative Arts Project 21) will transform its block box theater 'The Shop' into Europe during WWI, the backdrop for Fengar Gael's 'The Usher's Ball'. The play will have a month long run in May, as part of CAP21's Spring/Summer season.

Craig Noel, Founding Director of The Old Globe, died at his home in San Diego of natural causes on April 3. He was 94 years old.
