The Haifa Theater, directed by Nitza Ben-Zvi and Moshe Naor, has been encouraging and cultivating Israeli playwriting since its inception. As part of the 60th events for the Haifa Theater, the directors of the theater initiated a first reading festival out of hope and a desire to make it a tradition in the theater.
Haifa Theatre's premiering play HUSBANDS AND WIVES opened last Thursday, November 17, in a very festive event.
On a theme of plays that offer a reexamination of the term: the family and the sense of belonging and the transformation in the Israeli society, Haifa Theatre is proud to present the artistic repertoire for the upcoming year, 2016-2017, which is centered on original and varied theatrical creation of Israeli artists alongside emerging artists.
