This October 2014, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris opens at the Charing Cross Theatre for a strictly limited six-week run from today 16 October to 22 November 2014.

Two superb jazz singers will share the stage at Segerstrom Center as four-time Grammy winner Dianne Reeves and rising vocalist and Grammy winner Gregory Porter perform on January 16 in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.

This October 2014, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris opens at the Charing Cross Theatre for a strictly limited six-week run from 16 October to 22 November 2014. Press night is set for Saturday 18 October at 7.45pm. Directed by multi-award-winning director Andrew Keates, the production features an all-star cast of Daniel Boys (Avenue Q, Spamalot, Love Story - also well-known from BBC's Any Dream Will Do, 2007), David Burt (The Merchant of Venice, The Beggars People, Plague Over England), Eve Polycarpou (In The Heights, Mother Courage, Jacques Brel - National Theatre, 1970s) and Gina Beck (Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Les Mise?rables).

Green Space is pleased to offer a diverse roster of new/ emerging artists in October. Fertile Ground will present new work by various artists and Take Root will present an evening of work by Shawn T. Bible/stbdance and Bianca Johnson & Dancers.

NATALIE DOUGLAS - the acclaimed vocalist hailed as "sensational" by Time Out New York and "stirring" by The New York Daily News - will debut the new concert "HELLO DOLLY…THE MUSIC OF DOLLY PARTON" on Monday, September 15 at 9:30 PM. Douglas honors another notably-buxom performer: the beloved singer, actor, songwriter and Broadway composer Dolly Parton. Selections including songs that Dolly wrote such as "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors" and "I Just Might" from the Broadway musical 9 to 5, in addition to numbers that Dolly creatively covered like Neil Young's "After The Gold Rush" and Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven." Natalie will be joined by her longtime Musical Director Mark Hartman (Broadway's Avenue Q, Sondheim on Sondheim) on piano, accordion and mandolin; Michael Blanco on bass; Scott Kuney on guitar and banjo; Joe Choroszewski on drums and Shanna Sharp on acoustic guitar.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, in cooperation with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, presents The Black Movie Soundtrack at the Hollywood Bowl tonight, September 3, 2014, at 8 PM, hosted by actor and comedian Craig Robinson. Just added to the line-up are all-female R&B group En Vogue and soul and R&B singer Lalah Hathaway. Also joining the line-up to perform Pharell's 'Happy' are sixty elementary-aged choir students from YOLA at HOLA and YOLA at LACHSA.

The exciting evening of songs connected with these dynamic, iconic women includes 'Can't Help Lovin' That Man,' 'Throw It Away,' 'God Bless The Child,' and, of course, Dr. Simone's legendary composition, 'Four Women.' This program debuted in London earlier in 2014 and received a rare five-star review in The Times of London, which called her 'a true force of nature.'
