Ibeyi, Ryan Raftery, Kellylee Evans and More Among 'Rising Stars' at Joe's Pub This Winter

? Since Joe's Pub at The Public opened its doors in 1998, it has been a stomping ground for both the masterful legends and powerful young voices of music and the performing arts. This winter (November 2014-February 2015), Joe's welcomes a slate of emerging musicians, performers and artists including soulful French-Cuban twin sister duo Ibeyi, critically acclaimed performance artist Kalup Linzy, cabaret charmer Ali Grieb and more on the cusp of major careers. These artists, full lineup below, are the ones to watch.

Kimberley Locke to Launch Holiday Season at Feinstein's at the Nikko, 12/4-5

Labeled "the Queen of Christmas" by Billboard Magazine, Kimberley Locke kicks off the holiday season with two special performances at Feinstein's at the Nikko on Thursday, December 4 (8 p.m.) and Friday, December 5 (8 p.m.). Locke will perform songs off her acclaimed holiday album, "Christmas," as well as other fan favorites.

Billy Porter, Allison Williams, Norm Lewis & More Set for Lincoln Center's AMERICAN SONGBOOK 2015 Season!

Now in its 16th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook will continue to expand its scope in celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting, beginning with a free opening night concert in the David Rubenstein Atrium on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Live From Lincoln Center, the Emmy Award-winning program broadcast nationally on PBS stations, will shoot two of the first week's concerts by Broadway stars Norm Lewis and Billy Porter in The Appel Room. These performances will be broadcast nationally in the Spring of 2015.

Josh Nelson to Lead SOUL DOCTOR Off-Broadway; Performances Begin 11/26

Rehearsals are now underway for the new off-Broadway production of Soul Doctor, created by Daniel S. Wise, David Schechter, and Shlomo Carlebach and directed and choreographed by Mindy Cooper. This new presentation of Soul Doctor will be performed in one act at the Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th Street. With the venue's intimacy and spiritual setting, the show's story and vibrant music will captivate theatergoers. Previews are set to begin Wednesday, November 26, with opening set for Sunday, December 14.
