The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's 54th season kicks off in high style with Noel Coward's final and semi-autobiographical play, A SONG AT TWILIGHT. Performances began May 11 and continue through May 29 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. Fallen Angel Theatre Company (Aedin Moloney, Producing Artistic Director) today announced their next production: the Off-Broadway Premiere of Sharman Macdonald's When I Was A Girl I Used To Scream and Shout, a bittersweet and bitingly funny examination of mother/daughter turmoil. Performances will begin April 14th and continues through May 8th at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre.

Quintessence concludes its sixth season of progressive classic theatre with the Devil and Saints Repertory: Shaw's SAINT JOAN presented in rotating repertory with Christopher Marlowe's DOCTOR FAUSTUS. An eleven actor repertory ensemble, comprised of Quintessence's best and lead by directors Rebecca Wright and Alexander Burns, will bring to life Shaw and Marlowe's masterworks and continue to establish Quintessence's brand of epic classic theatre for 21st century Philadelphians. SAINT JOAN begins previews on Wednesday, March 16 at 7pm and opens on Saturday, March 19 at 8pm. DOCTOR FAUSTUS begins previews on Wednesday, March 30 at 7pm and opens on Saturday, April 2 at 8pm. When the Bard and his troupe of players receive a royal commission to dramatize the events surrounding the infamous Gunpowder Plot, the artist must confront the demons of his past, his present, and his obligations to the truth and artistic integrity. Equivocation was described in Variety as "one of the most bracingly intelligent, sizzlingly theatrical American plays in a decade."
