The National Theatre will present the fourth season of National Theatre Live (NT Live), a successful initiative to broadcast live performances from the National's stages to cinemas worldwide. Since its first season, which began in June 2009 with the acclaimed production of Phedre starring Helen Mirren, over 750,000 people have now experienced the National's work on movie screens worldwide.

Inside Men, the next installment of BBC AMERICA's Dramaville, follows three security depot employees, who plan and execute a multi-million pound cash heist. Every day they watch as millions of pounds worth of cash is counted, bound and stored in a vault. They see more money than they could ever dream of earning slowly pass them by. That is, until they decide to take it. Inside Men premieres Wednesday, June 20, 10:00pm ET/PT as part of Dramaville.

Highlights of the forthcoming productions at the National Theatre, announced today by Nicholas Hytner, include new plays by Alan Bennett, Stephen Beresford, Lisa D'Amour, James Graham and Lucy Prebble. There will be adaptations of Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Simon Stephens, and of The Count of Monte Cristo by Richard Bean. Enda Walsh's Misterman receives its London premiere; classic revivals include Polly Findlay's production of Sophocles' Antigone, Shakespeare's Timon of Athens directed by Nicholas Hytner, Bijan Sheibani's staging of Damned for Despair by Tirso de Molina, and Nadia Fall's production of Bernard Shaw's The Doctor's Dilemma.

Joining Clare Higgins are Nicola Walker as Paula and Zoe Waites as Melitta. Designs are by Tim Hatley with lighting by Neil Austin and sound by Ian Dickinson.

James Macdonald returns to the Almeida to direct the world premiere of Christopher Hampton's new version of Ödön von Horváth's Judgment Day. Judgment Day will run at the Almeida from 3 September - 17 October 2009, with press night on 10 September. Set designs are by Miriam Buether with costume design is by Moritz Junge, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Chris Shutt and music by Matthew Herbert.
