Gina Haver Stars in OVER THE HILL at MITF, Now thru 8/4

In association with the Midtown International Theater Festival, award-winning writer and director Lori Mannette and producer Haley Swindal present: Over The Hill, a new dark comedy running 50 minutes. The show will play from today, July 31st to August 4th in the Dorothy Strelsin Theater, located at 312 W. 36th Street.

Cortland Repertory Theatre starts their celebratory 40th Anniversary 'Ruby Jubilee' season at the Little York Pavilion with 'Rumors', a hysterical farce penned by America's Master of Comedy, Neil Simon. Simon is best known for his cannon of wildly successful comedies, and is the only playwright in history to have four shows running on Broadway at the same time: 'The Odd Couple', 'Barefoot in the Park', 'The Star Spangled Girl' and the musical 'Sweet Charity'. He has been nominated 17 times for the Tony Award, has won 3, and also won the Pulitzer Prize for his semi-autobiographical comedy/drama 'Lost in Yonkers'. 'Rumors' is the only true farce that he has added to his extensive body of work.

6 New Playwrights Join For Draft's 10 Minute Play Festival 5/28-30 At Red Room

The Draft's 10 Minute Play Festival: Six Plays About Hope is the collaborative effort of six emerging playwrights, six imminent directors, and ten multifaceted actors. Each play was written specifically for The Drafts; playwrights were given randomly compiled cast lists and the theme 'hope plays' before setting out to write them.

GALILEO & THE SCIENCE PLAYS Set For Milk Can's Spring '09 Season 4/30-5/17

The Milk Can Theatre Company has announced its spring 2009 season: Galileo, written by Bertolt Brecht and directed by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, and The Science Plays, six short plays inspired by the history of science. Galileo and The Science Plays will run in repertory April 30 through May 17. All performances will take place at Urban Stages, 259 West 30th Street.
