Glenwood Ave. Previews areSaturday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 19 at 2:30 p.m. Press are invited to attend Monday, Feb. 20 or Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. Industry Nights are Mondays: February 27, March 6 and March 13 at 8 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $28 and available at CircleTheatreChicago.org.

CIRCLE THEATRE has announced a new artistic team as it prepares to launch into its first full season in over a year. Circle Theatre began in Oak Park, IL back in 1985 by Karen Skinner, Wayne Buidens and Joseph Bass, where it produced multiple world premieres and earned over 40 Joseph Jefferson Awards in its 28-year residency. After officially transitioning to the city proper in 2013 with the remount of its Jeff Award-winning When the Rain Stops Falling (director: John Gawlik), Circle Theatre produced two more musicals (Death Takes a Holiday and Edges) before taking a break from producing to re-group as an artistic ensemble.

By the author of LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION!, MASTER CLASS and RAGTIME, Terrence McNally, Circle Theatre's production of THE RITZ opened on February 15th.When straight businessman Gaetano Proclo discovers he's being pursued by the mob, he unwittingly takes cover in a gay bathhouse with an increasingly bizarre and endearing cast of characters. He takes on the guise of a Broadway producer to further hide his identity and farcical merriment ensues.
