Jeff Harnar is chock-full of the guy-next-door magnetism of the bygone era of Hollywood's Golden age of male stars.  He is someone that the audience knows they can trust, is easy to enjoy with just a hint of mischievousness to keep things interesting.  He is the modern day equivalent to film stars Van Johnson or Gene Kelly.  

It was the evening of Wednesday, November 10,1993, and the Minskoff Theatre was packed with VIP guests, producers and theater royalty waiting for the opening night to begin. Four bars of music played while the curtain opened and the spotlights glowed on someone making their Broadway Debut as the Narrator in the show. She beautifully began with the lyrics, a?oeSome folks dream of the wonders they'll do, before their time on this planet is througha??. The singer was the unforgettable Kelli Rabke and the show was the revival of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.

Just added to the lineup is "America's Baritone", William Michals. Michals starred at Lincoln Center as Emile De Becque in the landmark revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC.

Beautiful was the operative word last night as Corinna Sowers Adler brought her beautiful voice and beautiful songs to Feinstein's/54 Below last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Check out the photos.

Almost 10 years ago, now Tony and MAC nominated Corinna Sowers Adler made her debut with a highly acclaimed cabaret entitled 'Stories'. On Sunday, April 22, at 4:30pm, she will bring the show concept back to The Triad Theater on West 72nd Street, in a new version entitled 'Second Stories' which features the story song works of some of today's most beloved composers like Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller, Kurt Weill, Ira Gershwin as well as some lesser known surprises by Phil Hanseroth, Adam Gwon, Meg Flather, Garry Novikoff and many others.

The actors in the NiCori Teen Performance Ensemble may not have spelled all the words correctly in the Corinna Sowers directed production of the Tony and Drama Desk Award winning musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, but they sure got everything else right last night in their performance in Montclair N.J. Intimate Nights: The Golden Age of Cabaret was the theme of the Third night of The 28th New York Cabaret Convention held at JALC Rose Theater. It was a grand eventing and the enthusiastic audience got to enjoy the artists quite well during the 3 1/2 hours of music.
