CRACKING THE VOICEOVER CODE Panel Discussion and More Set for Moving Image, 2/27

Some of America's top voiceover professionals, casting directors, talent agents, and producers will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how to break into voiceover acting and sustain a career. The program offers insiders' perspectives on the process and reveal the variety of voiceover work available in the industry, including television and radio commercials, animation, video games, movie trailers, Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR), audio book narration, and more. The seminar, Cracking the Voiceover Code, takes place Thursday, February 27, at 6:00 p.m. at Museum of the Moving Image, and features a panel discussion and audition contest followed by a reception and book signing.

Roundabout's MACHINAL to Close on Broadway March 2

Nichols School Sponsors Road Less Traveled Productions's AN ILIAD, 3/7-30

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) has announced that the next production in its 2013-2014 10th Anniversary season, An Iliad, by Denis O'Hare and Lisa Peterson, has received sponsorship support from Nichols School, a nationally recognized co-educational college preparatory school in Buffalo, NY.

THEATER TALK Sets Spring Season Preview for this Weekend

Theater critics Adam Feldman (Time Out New York) and Jesse Green (New York Magazine), along with journalist Michael Musto (Out.com), join co-hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins for a Spring Season 2014 Preview of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions scheduled to open before the Tony® Award nominations are announced in June.

RLTP Names Ellen Hassett Cahill as New Board Chairman

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) today announced Buffalo native Ellen Hassett Cahill as its new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Hassett Cahill was voted into the position, which carries a three-year term, on December 18, 2013. She previously served a two-year term as Vice-Chairman on the RLTP Board.

La MaMa Experimental Theatre & Yara Arts Group to Present CAPTAIN JOHN SMITH GOES TO UKRAINE, 2/27-3/9

La MaMa Experimental Theatre and Yara Arts Group will present 'Captain John Smith Goes to Ukraine' February 27 to March 9. This experimental theater work, created by Bob Holman (Bowery Poetry Club), performance artist Susan Hwang, Ukrainian musician Julian Kytasty and director Virlana Tkacz, deals with Capt. Smith's adventures in Eastern Europe circa 1603, where he first met 'other' people and gained experience that helped him prepare for dealing with Native Americans as founder of Jamestown.

Jim Campbell Solo Exhibition to Open 3/21 at Museum of the Moving Image

Museum of the Moving Image presents the first solo museum exhibition in New York of the work of Jim Campbell (b. 1956), the San Francisco-based artist best known for his evocative low resolution works. The exhibition opens in New York City on March 21, 2014 and will be on view through June 15.

Geva's 41st Season Continues with CLYBOURNE PARK, Now thru 3/9

Geva Theatre Center' 41st Season continues with Clybourne Park by Bruce Norris. Directed by Mark Cuddy, this wickedly funny and fiercely provocative play about the volatile combination of race and real estate begins performances tonight, February 11 and runs in the Elaine P. David Hyde Pierce & Mary Testa to Host Playwrights Horizons' Annual Gala Honoring Bob Moss this May

The evening will be co-hosted by two of the company's alumni actors: two-time Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce (at PH in Richard Greenberg's The Maderati in 1987) and two-time Tony Award nominee, two-time Obie Award winner and 2012 Special Drama Desk Award winner Mary Testa (at PH in William Finn's In Trousers in 1979, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Lucky Stiff in 1988, Tom Donaghy's From Above in 1998/Obie Award and Kathleen Tolan's The Wax in 2000).

The newest THEATER TALK features two new Off-Broadway productions that showcase their writers as performers: The Tribute Artist by Charles Busch and Almost, Maine by John Cariani. Joining Charles Busch on the show is his current co-star and frequent sidekick, actress Julie Halston, celebrating the premiere production of the new play at 59E59 Theaters. Later, John Cariani - whose Almost, Maine was first produced in 2002, and is now one of the most frequently produced plays of the past decade - is accompanied by director, Jack Cummings III, Artistic Director of Transport Group, who is helming the revival of the play, now at The Gym at Judson.

Tower, Leon, Oppens and Cassatt Set for UNCOMMON WOMEN at Symphony Space Tonight

Tonight, February 7 (7:30 pm), Symphony Space pays tribute to 'the women warriors of new music' with a concert marking a quartet of anniversaries: composer Joan Tower's 75th birthday (Sept. 6, 2013), composer Tania Leon's 70th birthday (May 14, 2013), pianist Ursula Oppens's 70th (Feb. 2, 2014), and the 30th anniversary season of the Cassatt String Quartet.

New York Live Arts Announces the Winter and Spring Events for THE SUITCASE FUND

New York Live Arts has announced an array of winter and spring events for the Suitcase Fund, Live Arts' signature international artist and cultural exchange program. Events include Research Presentations by Serbian artists Saša Asenti?& Ana Vujanovi?, as well as Marijana Cvetkovi? Markovi? and Miki Braniste; and a two week research residency by South African choreographers Thabiso Pule & Thami Hector Manekhla, in partnership with Movement Research.

Sarah Ruhl's STAGE KISS Begins Previews this Week at Playwrights Horizons

Previews begin this Friday, February 7 for Playwrights Horizons' New York premiere production of STAGE KISS, a new play marking the eagerly-anticipated return to PH of two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Sarah Ruhl (Dead Man's Cell Phone at PH; The Clean House, In the Next Room…, Eurydice).
