GLIMPSES OF THE MOON is pleased to announce the following special guest stars have confirmed to appear Monday nights at 8pm in the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel.

Details Announced For 'SEE BOB RUN' And 'WILD ABANDON'

Swandive Studio (Lisa Snyder, Founder) announces details of its upcoming joint productions of See Bob Run and Wild Abandon, both written by Daniel MacIvor. See Bob Run is directed by Benjamin Watson and features Lisa Snyder as 'Bob'; Wild Abandon is directed by Ruis Woertendyke and features Max Woertendyke as 'Steve.' These solo-performer one-acts will run in conjunction. Performances begin Wednesday, January 7th for a limited run through Saturday, January 24th at Center Stage, NY (48 West 21st Street, 4th floor).

New Rep Presents 'CABARET' Playing At The Arsenal 1/11-2/1

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is proud to present Kander and Ebb's Tony Award-winning musical Cabaret. Cabaret opens for the press on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 and plays through February 1, 2009 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

'MY VAUDEVILLE MAN' Nears Its Final Performance On 1/4

The YORK THEATRE COMPANY (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) and Melanie Herman, who produced The Musical Of Musicals (The Musical!), announce the final performances of the Off-Broadway Premiere of My Vaudeville Man!, a new musical based on the life of legendary eccentric tap star Jack Donahue. My Vaudeville Man! had its world premiere at last year's NY Musical Theatre Festival under the title Mud Donahue and Son.

Horizon's CALIGULA Completes Run at the Kirk Theatre 12/30

Horizon Theatre Rep presents the New York premiere of David Greig's celebrated translation of Albert Camus' classic drama CALIGULA -- the plays its final performance at Theatre Row's Kirk Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan on 12/30. Rafael De Mussa directs.

Jessica Dickey's 'THE AMISH PROJECT' Opens At Cherry Lane

Cherry Lane Theatre, Angelina Fiordellisi Artistic Director and James King Managing Director will present 'The Amish Project' for three weeks as a work in progress from Saturday, January 10 through Sunday, February 1, 2009. 'The Amish Project', which is written and performed by Jessica Dickey, and directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde, is a one-person play inspired by the tragedy at the Nickel Mines Amish Settlement in 2006. Imbued with poetry and humor, the show explores a community grappling with loss and faith. Cherry Lane plans to produce the world premier in April.

MY VAUDEVILLE MAN! Swings Into Recording Studio 1/2

Berkeley Rep Presents Its 50th World Premiere: In the Next Room Starting Jan 30

Berkeley Repertory Theatre greets the new year by proudly presenting its 50th world premiere, a new comedy about marriage, intimacy, and electricity from the creators of Eurydice. Celebrated playwright Sarah Ruhl and Obie Award-winning director Les Waters come together again for the debut of In the Next Room (or the vibrator play). Commissioned by Berkeley Rep and staged in the state-of-the-art Roda Theatre, this hotly anticipated play begins previews on January 30, opens February 4, and closes March 15. BART and Wells Fargo serve as season sponsors for Berkeley Rep's 41st year of fearless theatre, and the executive producer for this show is the Strauch Kulhanjian Family.

Michael Rubinoff and Lindsey Steinberg announced today that DOG SEES GOD: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, the hit off-Broadway play by Bert V. Royal, will have its Canadian premiere at Toronto's Six Degrees, 2335 Yonge Street, beginning March 13 for a limited four week engagement.

'SILENT HEROES' At Theater 54, Shetler Studios Opens 1/8/09

The Roundtable Ensemble (Kelly Ann Moore, Artistic Director and Joshua P. Weiss, Managing Director), now in its 10th season, will present the New York premiere of Linda Escalera Baggs' award-winning play 'SILENT HEROES,' inspired by a true story, and directed by Rosemary Andress. 'SILENT HEROES' will be presented at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street, 12th floor (bet. 8th and 9th Aves). Performances will begin on January 8, and the official opening performance will be Sunday, January 11 at 3:00 p.m. Performances will run through Saturday, January 24.
