Due to heavy demand for tickets, the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and Andy Sandberg (Hair) have announced two additional performances for The Last Smoker in America with Book & Lyrics by Bill Russell (Side Show, Tony Award Nominee), and Music by Peter Melnick (Adrift in Macao, Drama Desk Nominee) on Wednesday afternoon, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. and late night Friday, October 16th at 11:00 p.m.
FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, will continue its star-studded Fall 2009 season with the New York debut MELINDA DOOLITTLE in her first-ever nightclub engagement from November 17 - 21. The 'American Idol' finalist will perform an intimate evening of jazz standards, pop hits and Broadway classics, in addition to selections from her CD, Coming Back To You. All shows are at the Regency Hotel.
The producers of the recently announced 'A Christmas Carol' production at the Civic Opera House this December regret to announce that Timothy Hutton and Stockard Channing will not be part of this year's production.

Bryan Putnam, book, music, and lyrics, continues to show his mutli-faceted talents by jumping into the title role of The ToyMaker due to cast illness. With a mornings rehearsal and organic knowledge of the music, Putnam will sing off-stage at today's 1p performance as Petr, the toy maker.
