Unitard to Return to NYC This Spring with HOUSE OF TARDS

Acclaimed comedy trio Unitard returns to New York City with HOUSE OF TARDS. Made up of the combined talents of Mike Albo (former New York Times columnist and author of The Underminer as well as established solo performer), Nora Burns (of the comedy group The Nellie Olesons), and David Ilku (member of the Dueling Bankheads), UNITARD brings HOUSE OF TARDS, its first new show in over two years, back to the Stonewall Inn, where it premiered last October (the sold out series of performances were extended through December 2014). HOUSE OF TARDS will once again be performed at the Stonewall Inn (53 Christopher Street in Greenwich Village) for four weekly performances beginning Thursday, March 19th (March 19th and 26th; April 2nd and 9th at 8 pm).

The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Bright Star, a new American musical featuring music by Edie Brickell and Steve Martin, lyrics by Brickell, and book by Martin, based on an original story by Martin and Brickell. Directed by Walter Bobbie, Bright Star will run September 13 - November 2, 2014 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run September 13 - September 27. Opening night is Sunday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. Single tickets go on sale on Friday, August 8 at noon.
