God Shows Up, the new comedy-drama by noted theatre journalist and playwrightPeter Filichia officially opened on Monday, May 13 at 7pm. After a successful run at the 62-seat Playroom Theater, 'God' moved to The Actor's Temple Theatre (339 West 47th Street - between 8th and 9th Avenue) where it began previews on April 6 for an open-ended engagement. Ogunquit Playhouse's third season offering is an epic production of the Alan Menken-Stephen Schwartz- Peter Parnell musical version of Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This is only the third regional production of this adaptation of Hugo's 19th century novel set in 15th century Paris and represents another major step in the development process which will likely eventually bring this show to Broadway.

The evening's one-of-a-kind all-star tribute, hosted by Emmy®, Grammy, Oscar and Tony® Award winner, Whoopi Goldberg, featured dozens of celebrities from Hollywood and Broadway in a one-night-only evening of musical selections drawn from Mr. Harris' career in theater, film and television, co-directed by Tony® Award winner and Drama League Alumnus Michael Mayer with Johanna McKeon, and co-produced by Roger T. Producer David Binder has just announced that Neil Patrick Harris will star in the Broadway premiere of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's musical HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH in the Spring of 2014.
