On Sunday, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present songwriter Jonathan Reid Gealt, who celebrated the release of his new cd, "Whatever I Want It To Be," with a concert at the historic music room starring a bevy of Broadway stars. A slew of Broadway performers are set for the next installment of the 'Broadway Sings' concert series honoring Sara Bareilles. A cast of 20 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the singer-songwriter's greatest hits, including cast members from the pre-Broadway run of Bareilles' musical Waitress at American Repertory Theatre. The performers will be accompanied by a string orchestra playing original orchestrations, tonight, November 2, at the Highline Ballroom.

Before joining the cast of soap opera AS THE WORLD TURNS, which jump-started her TV career, Vanessa starred in regional productions, national tours, and on Broadway in shows like FOOTLOOSE, SPELLING BEE, and HAIR. Along the way, she became friends with Broadway's favorite singing, dancing videographer Andrew Keenan-Bolger, whom we have to thank for a lot of these videos!

Musical theatre licensing house Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW) hosted 175 regional theatre managers and creatives for a celebration of their 10th year representing Broadway, Off Broadway and theatre for young audience shows. The invitation-only dinner and concert event was held Oct 15, aboard the luxury yacht Atlantica, setting sail from Pier 61 at 7pm, providing breathtaking views of New York City.
Natalie Weiss recently made her return to Rockwell in Los Angeles. With Will Yanez on guitar, Natalie performed a stripped down set where she sang classic mashups, delivered hilarious banter, and of course broke down a few riffs. Her special guests included Shoshana Bean (Beaches, Wicked, Godspell), Luke Edgemon (The Voice, Glee), India Carney (The Voice), John Pinto Jr. (Book of Mormon). American composer Jonathan Reid Gealt is back in London to launch his third studio album WHATEVER I WANT IT TO BE on Sunday 11th October at St James Studio before its official worldwide release on 29th November.
