 In an attempt to do its part in flattening the curve of infection and to comply with state, county, and local Shelter in Place directives, Imagination Theater will remain closed until restrictions are lifted and county health officials deem it safe to return to normal operations.

The California Desert Chorale presents AN AMERICAN SONGFEST March 18 and 25, an eclectic offering including music form the Broadway smash hit 'Hamilton'. I caught up with Artistic Director Tim Bruneau as he was prepearing for this very special concert to talk all things Chorale and more. Her are a few excerpts from that conversation:

The 14/15 Season at Syracuse Stage starts tonight, September 24, with Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play. The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) last night announced the winners of the 2013 Writers Guild Awards.

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, news, radio, promotional writing, and graphic animation during the 2012 season. The winners will be honored at the 2013 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

On Thursday evening, Sing forHope (www.singforhope.org) presented 'Salon SFH: If Music Be the Food of Love' at the organization's new Office/ArtSpace at 575 Eighth Avenue.
