Trip of Love, New York's high-voltage 1960's Pop Music Spectacular, welcomes Nia Sioux to the company. Starting July 12, the star of the hit Lifetime Television series 'Dance Moms' will join the company, performing specialty dance solos including 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin', 'Moon River,' and 'Wipe Out.'

This is the story of Cindy, a 20-something whose dreams are bigger than her Midwestern hometown will allow. Set against the backdrop of New York City in the 1960s -women's liberation, the civil rights movement, and protests of the Vietnam war-Cindy searches for her place in the world. A Sign of the Times, featuring chart-topping hits from the 1960s, celebrates friendship, love, and discovering one's sense of self. This pop-fueled musical will run July 29 - September 4 at The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. A Sign of the Times will be sponsored by Essex Savings Bank.

Trip of Love, the 1960's pop music spectacular,breaks the Stage 42 house record, becoming the theater's longest running tenant. At the matinee on Wednesday, June 22, Trip of Love will have played 305 performances (including 24 preview performances). This breaks standing house record held by the 2003 musical Fame on 42nd Street, which ran for a total of 304 performances (including 40 previews) at the same venue when it was previously called The Little Shubert Theater.

Norway's Jo Stromgren Kompani makes its eagerly awaited return to New York with their internationally acclaimed production of The Hospital. Characterized by choreographer Jo Stromgren's darkly humorous mix of dance and theater, The Hospital is set in a remote, empty hospital where three nurses try to endure the lack of patients by injuring then treating each other, performing their duties on themselves as an alternative to the real thing. Not a healthy activity, but it passes the time. A military chopper is constantly passing overhead, revealing a far simpler explanation for their problems.
