The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the world premiere of Nick Gandiello's touching and timely drama The Blameless, which was developed in a reading in the Globe's Powers New Voices Festival last year.Gaye Taylor Upchurch (The Last Match, Bethany) returns to the Globe to direct.

The Bush Theatre will reopen after a year-long £4.3m redevelopment, the largest capital project in the theatre's history, with a bold new season kicked off by the European Premiere of Guards at the Taj by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph, directed by Jamie Lloyd (from 7 April). A brand new Studio space opens with the premiere of Barney Norris play While We're Here directed by Alice Hamilton (from 26 April).

Corrib Theatre presents the Northwest Premiere of Our New Girl by Irish-born playwright Nancy Harris, directed by Gemma Whelan. Performances will take place at Portland Actors Conservatory Theatre from June 10th through June 26th Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. The cast features Portland actors Nikki Weaver, Paige A. McKinney, Todd Van Voris, and Atticus Salmon. General Admission seats are $25, students and seniors are $15, and groups of six or more are $20.

The Bush Theatre today announced a number of ways it will demonstrate the theatre's commitment to nurturing new writing at all levels, from emerging artists to established artists seeking to try something new. Its September production THIS PLACE WE KNOW will stage six new, specially commissioned plays by April de Angelis, Kenny Emson, Nancy Harris, Sabrina Mahfouz, Barney Norris and Gbolahan Obisesan, in various venues along on and around the Uxbridge Road in Shepherd's Bush. The Donmar presents the UK premiere of Elegy by playwright Nick Payne. Directed by Artistic Director Josie Rourke, the full cast is Barbara Flynn as Carrie, Nina Sosanya as Miriam and Zoe Wanamaker as Lorna, all making a return to the Donmar stage. Elegy starts previews from tonight 21 April and imagines a very-near future in which radical and unprecedented advances in medical science mean that it's now possible to extend life.
